"There is always a light, if only we're brave enough to see it. if only we're brave enough to be it."

-Amanda Gorman, youngest inaugural poet in U.S history

Is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons

  • Spark a county wide paradigm shift

  • End anti-Blackness

  • Liberation and emancipation

  • Hold open-minded conversations within our county

  • Intervene, interrupt and intercept racism

  • Dismantle systemic racism and oppression

  • Emphasize the importance of the youth perspective

  • Education and awareness of social injustices

  • Provide access, resources and support for marginalized community members

  • Eliminate discrimination and create a more equitable and inclusive environment for all

The next generation is the generation that will continue our fight. We believe that the youth perspective is a very vital aspect to keeping the NAACP's cause alive.

Racism's roots stem deep into the backbone of our very own country. We work hard and diligently to close the gap and heal the wounds that systemic racism has created. We look toward the future with high hope in achieving equity for all.

The NAACP is not an anti-white group. We welcome all allies to join us in the fight against racial injustice. We look to eliminate the anti-black sentiments our country and county has held for ages while preaching unity and understanding of different cultures in our community.
